Celebrating Women's Day @ GlobalCapital

As with everyone around the globe, last week GlobalCapital celebrated Women’s Day. On this occasion Ms Renee Laiviera who is currently the Commissioner of the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality (NCPE) and NCPE’s Acting Executive Director delivered a talk on “a society free from discrimination”. This covered gender and family responsibilities, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics, age, sexual orientation, religion/belief and race/ethnic origin. Ms Laiviera also covered the field of gender and race/ethnic origin in the access to and provision of goods and services.

GlobalCapital’s women found the Presentation very interesting and most participated in a rather healthy discussion. Refreshments followed afterwards.
