New GlobalCapital unsecured bonds fully subscribed
15 June 2018GlobalCapital p.l.c. announced that the issue of €10 million 5% unsecured 2021 bonds has been oversubscribed.
In a company announcement published on the 8 June 2016 on the Malta Stock Exchange after the close of the offer period, GlobalCapital stated that the Company has received applications for new bonds in excess of the amount of €10 million. Existing bondholders will be receiving the full amount of new bonds applied for by them. An allocation policy will be announced at a later stage for the scaling down of applications received from Professional Clients.
The Company expects the Bonds to be admitted to listing on the Official List of the Malta Stock Exchange on 13 June 2016 and trading in the Bonds to commence on 15 June 2016.
GlobalCapital has also announced that proceeds from the new bond issue were used for the payment of the 5.6% GlobalCapital p.l.c. bonds which matured on the 2 June 2016. Accordingly, the Company also announced that payment of principal and interest of the matured bonds has been dispatched.
GlobalCapital expressed its gratitude to all investors who have held the matured bonds and those investors who have extended their support to the Company by subscribing for the new bonds.
